Treatment against rice stink bug (Eysarcoris ventralis) in the Rice Fields of Vega Baja, Extremadura.
In 2023, we carried out phytosanitary treatments promoted and authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Junta de Extremadura to control Eysarcoris ventralis, a pest affecting the region’s rice fields. More than 150 hectares in Vega Baja were treated using drones, achieving excellent efficiency and resource optimization. This method not only ensured effective pest control but also reduced input usage, significantly improving crop profitability in a completely safe manner.
As a result, Beniu was awarded a certificate of satisfaction for the successful execution of the project.
